A letter to Grace R.

Dear Grace R.,

Much to my surprise for the gift you sent for me today, my heart was just encouraged to know that I am not alone in my journey. We can relate to each other and that's wonderful! I praise God for you. Please, let me thank you from the bottom of my heart, this gift.... this unexpected beautiful gift is beyond words can describe. I may not know you personally but it seems that I already know you by heart.
Blessings always!

Hi Jenny!
Wow, that was fast! It's surreal to think that just two days prior, I was just inline at PostalAnnex! You're very much welcome and I'm glad that you liked 'Joshie'.
Mind you, I don't usually do this, he he, send people cds of Josh Groban on a whim. It's hard to put into words but somehow you struck a chord and I just had to let you know how life-affirming it is on my part. To think that I was just googling 'sinamak', a word I've been curious about and before i could say to myself, "Hold it! Now take deep breaths slowly in and out, and contemplate for a minute and realize how crazy and weird this is you're thinking of doing", I found myself at Barnes and Noble anyway, got Josh's cd, convinced without a doubt that you gotta listen to his music. Now how crazy is that??!! In retrospect, I guess I just wanted to share to you something of significance to me, the same way that you have shared those which are and who are of most significance to you and in doing so, touched my soul to the very core. You have no idea how,in your journal entrees, in a myriad of ways, you have verbalized a lot of my thoughts, aspirations and trepidations. It's like living them vicariously. I guess because we are on the same age-range that we mirror each other's experiences; that we paddle same-colored boats. And as you said, it feels like kind of wonderful! The main difference is, time and again, you always remembered to thank GOD for whatever came your way, whereas I, don't even remember the last time I prayed to HIM. And I don't know why, but I'm bawling right now. Actually, I know why. I miss HIM a lot. And your personal prayers to HIM were so much what I've been wanting to express and been wanting to let HIM know for a long time. And for the first time in a long time, I went to mass last Sunday.
There's a lot more to be said but anyways, again, thank you. It behooves me how GOD works wonders. It's only lately that i've looked at some of your other entrees and really, this world is such a small place and it's amazing how six-degrees-of-connection goes.
Anyways, I wish you and your loved ones well, and I know that you will get to be where you aspire to be in all areas of your life. May you have all the happiness you could stand. And may you always have the courage to just BE. Most of all, I wish you love always.

Dearest Grace,

Thank you for your kind words. It is not a mistake nor by chance that we have met in cyberspace. I do not believe in coincidence, however, I believe in God's divine appointment for us to meet... yes, even in the most unorthodox way, the internet.
Sometimes I wonder why God allow such things like this to happen in our lives? For instance, the meeting of two people, with abodes between thousands of miles in distance who havent seen and met eye to eye....yet, I do know that everything happens for a reason under heaven. And I believe that whatever is started here, will flourish, until the day of the LORD'S return. God bless you my dearest friend, Grace. I send you my love.

ps... i would like to know you further. i hope you wouldn't mind me asking for your e-address so we can communicate through emails. pls send me a note at- thanks!
